A Study to Develop Potential Policy Linkages and Policy Architecture for Climate Change Adaptation and Related Policies in Bangladesh

The study was conducted by Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University to support Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Acclimatise Group Ltd. to develop a comprehensive understanding of the policy interventions related to climate change adaptation in Bangladesh with the aim to propose potential policy architecture and establish mutual linkages between all these plans, policies, and strategies with a view to achieve more coherent, efficient, and advanced implementation of adaptation actions.

Advancing Water Security of Marginalized Communities Living Along Karnali Ganges River Basin in Nepal, India and Bangladesh

WaterAid Bangladesh and Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University have been honored to receive funding from the Asia Foundation to support the development of a project in Nepal, India and Bangladesh with ultimate goal of making transboundary water governance grounded in local contexts and be more inclusive and sustainable.

Conduct Feasibility Studies on Halda River

Developed a bankable project proposal for the Adaptation Fund, focusing on sustainable and climate adaptive initiatives for climate-vulnerable offshore small islands and charlands. Project Link (Adaptation Fund) Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University has supported GoB and UNDP for developing a bankable project proposal on Adaptation Initiative for Climate Vulnerable Offshore Small Island and Char Lands in Bangladesh which has been accepted by Adaptation Fund Board on 15 March 2019.
